DESCRIPTION
GÜAR – GUAR GUM POWDER
Guar gum is a natural polysaccharide of the fiber type, belonging to the galactomannan group, used in powder form as a thickening and stabilizing agent . It acts as a hydrocolloid, being especially indicated for cold thickening , preserving the fresh flavor of preparations.
It is an alternative to Xanthan gum for cold thickening.
It is obtained from the seeds of a leguminous plant ( Cyamopsis tetragonolobus ), similar to a pea, native to India and Pakistan.

Soluble in cold water, providing high viscosity.

Maintains stability in preparations subjected to high temperatures.

HOW TO USE:
Mix into the cold liquid with vigorous stirring until completely dispersed.
USUAL DOSAGE:
5 g/kg of liquid product.
Product intended for food use.
Store in a cool, dry place.
FORMAT:
Available in 750g and 150g packs.
