DESCRIPTION
PSYLLIUM – GELLING FIBER AND GLUTEN SUBSTITUTE
Psyllium is a seed husk from a swab with thickening and gelling properties, rich in mucilage and hemicellulose. Mucilages are a group of natural gelling agents derived from plants, with a high capacity for water absorption.
This natural product is also used as dietary fiber to alleviate various gastrointestinal symptoms. Several studies demonstrate evidence of reduced cholesterol and blood glucose levels in people with type 2 diabetes.
It is widely used as a thickener in ice cream and desserts that require freezing.
Instructions for use:
Dissolve hot or cold with vigorous stirring.
Emulsifying powder.
Ingredients: Citrus fruit fiber, thickener: xanthan gum (E-415). May contain milk.
Mix in one of the two phases (fat or water) and gradually incorporate into the other phase to obtain a correct emulsion.
Dosage: 2-15 g/kg.
Product intended for food use.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Format: 700 g package.
