TÖUFOOD SORBÄTE
A preservative used to preserve various foods and beverages, obtained from the berries of the Sorbus aucuparia tree. It acts by retarding bacterial and fungal growth, being widely used in preparations with high water activity or foods that require a longer shelf life. It also retards the fermentation process in food products. It may lose its preservative capacity if mixed with products rich in calcium, such as dairy products.
Instructions for use:
Add directly to the liquid product or dissolve beforehand in a liquid base.
Recommended dosage:
2-4 g/kg of the final product.
