TARTARIC – TARTARIC ACID POWDER
Tartaric acid powder produced from calcium tartrate obtained from grapes or other fruits, or by various fermentations.
Preservative (in pickles), flavor enhancer, and color stabilizer.
Acidifier for wines, jams, ice cream, jellies and juices.
Mixing it with baking soda produces a chemical leavening agent.
Instructions for use:
Incorporate directly into juices or other products.
Usual dosage:
5-10 g/kg of product.
